Tonight there will be a total lunar eclipse! I have to stay up really late so my blog post will be posted really, really late!
There seems to be some hubbub about a "blood moon". As far as I can tell, when the earth shadow is fully covering the moon it turns red. Here a neat-o article from earthsky.org that tells you about how our atmosphere changes the color of the shadow: Why does the moon look red during a total lunar eclipse?
Also, earthsky.org gives this information about what a Blood Moon is.
Hope you come back to see my photos!
