It was another day on the heating pad for me, so I decided to take some freelensing photos of stuff on my floor.... It might be a little more interesting that way.... or not...

Okay so this isn't really on the floor.... but it looks cool.

Today I did some photos of a sculpture Adam is creating. He is making Dr. Vincent Morrow from the comic Witch Doctor by  Brandon Seifert and Lukas Ketner.

I also did some free lensing of the sculpture:

This overexposure is the best!

 And here is Adam doing a bit of research for his sculpture.

Tonight I tried technique that was new to me. Freelensing. (seriously google it... there is a ton of information out there.) basically you take the lens off the camera and hold it in front of where it normally goes. You can move the lens, tilt it, and shift it to get what you want.  It also allows for crazy light leaks. I used my 50mm 1.8 lens.

Or you can turn it around and have a macro lens:

It does make taking a self portrait much much harder.....

I think this is a technique that I will be experimenting more with.
