Today marks a great day in history, I finally got my Oregon license plates!!

The Saga that started late JANUARY has finally come to an end. And I was #5 at the DMV this morning!

Yes, I had to go back to the DMV to get my plates, why you might ask.... I am not sure, but somehow the plates the DMV originally sent me never actually made it to me.... why? Who knows, I am banking on the mailman hates us, because our rent bill never came either..... oh well, that is all done for two years....

So I tried.... the key word is tried.... to do some macros and close ups of the blue frogs.... I will have to try again.... I need more light.

It was vitamin night, that is why the fruit flies are all white and powdery.

Marach 2nd, 2015

I attempted to photograph the baby frogs. Jen has sent some of them off to new homes, but Dewey is still hanging out. He'll probably hang out forever.

Dewey is still very tiny!

Here are some of the friend he currently lives with. They will be moving on to new homes after it get warmer.

Looking at those all again.... it might be the same froglett...... I have no idea...

Yay!! Happy 12-13-14!!

Today was my first time ever feeding the frogs. It probably went as well as you can expect... fruit flies are hard to wrangle, in case anyone wanted to know.... you need to put the lid on really tight or they all escape... everywhere.....


I must have done something right because Jean-Luc and Nela were very happy to pose for me! They are red  Adephobates galactonotus.

This is Q, I don't know what this one's name is (Jen will probably tell me) but he is a Dendrobates auratus. We played hide and seek for a while.

Getting good photos of the little frogs is yet another project on my to do list.... I think these ones turned out pretty well.
