More from the Ballard Locks and the Arboretum.

I was excited to see the lock in action. It was strange how it was interesting and boring at the same time.

All the boats lining up. There were so many!

The lock doors opening.
There was also a sea lion at the locks having a feast. Here is a terrible photo of him.

Also there was a rusty car... you know I can't pass up a chance to photography rusty things!

Have a great day!!

Hello! I had to take a quick trip to Seattle, and when I got home my keyboard malfunctioned and it took me two days to deal with that.....

On the bright side of things, I went to Seattle because my photography is going to be on display at a lovely little store in Ballard, called Jax Joon. My work will be up until August! I also will have cards, small prints, and postcards available.

I a pretty excited about it!!

I had dinner at a little place in Ballard called The Sexton.

Then we went to and played around at the Ballard Locks.

Here are two terrible photos of the juvenile seal we saw eating baby salmon at the fish ladder.

and here is a lock....

I totally forgot to take my own photo.... you can pretend I am a seal!

Have a great day!!
