Joel and I went out to the Sherwood Lavender Farm today! We had fun picking lavender. I especially liked seeing all the bumble bees. (I think I was too excited because my exposures today were terrible,  I am a little disappointed in my photographs. I might have to go try again......)

So many bumble bees!!

Here is Joel pick lavender for us:

The farm is owned and operated by a very lovely couple! Erika and Theo Yigzaw. They were friendly and wonderful to chat with.

Let's start with some photos of bees!

Okay this isn't a bee.....  some one left their ear protection hanging on a bush.

Now how about some seeds!

And some wild thistles and other plants:

I also got to eat my first blackberry of the season! It was sweet and tart!

Have a great night!

I totally go caught trying to be a sneaky street photographer.... and it didn't even come out well....
Kathryn and I went out for a fancy dinner and drinks......

I had a fancy Manhattan made with marrionberry bourbon.....

I only had one.....

I am excited and sad about tomorrow.
