Today Jen and I went to a little trip to the Audubon Society.

It was dark and rainy..... all the birds were hiding inside drinking cocoa..... at least that is what I should have been doing....

These California poppies look like paintings today. I am not sure why the extension tubes do this sometimes. It probably is all to do with depth of field. It is still pretty neat. These images have only had some minor exposure, black adjustments, a couple have some clarity added. That is all.

California poppies are a native species to Oregon. However, Chicory is not:

Tried some new lighting with my leaf macros. I lit them from behind and in front.

I like that i pressed a spider web too....
