I am a little late in saying this to Joel... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! We have been together for seven years now!

May 30th is our actual anniversary. When I returned home from Seattle there was a beautiful bunch of roses waiting for me!!

Today I went to the International Rose Test Garden in Portland with my friend Mandy. It is neat to see all the different kinds of roses in so many different colors. I feel like all the blooms are early this year!

I was glad to see this little girl with a camera. I wish her all the best photos!

It has been a little foggy and misty here. This is what I found this morning.

I had a Thai iced tea at lunch.

My roses are in pretty sad shape.....

And I made myself cry while I was writing my short story. I know what is going to happen and I still cried.....

The final word count on the first draft is 6920. Not bad for a short story.
