May 22nd 2014

Today could have been a better day.... The woman we hired to take my place decided that she didn't actually want to do it. That means I pack a u-haul on Saturday, drive to Beaverton on Sunday, unload the u-haul, then drive back to Seattle on Monday without Joel.... awesome....

I found some individual caterpillers to take photos of today.

A yellow rose:

Joel and I checked out a new to us Chinese restaurant. The food was alright, but this Foo Dog is pretty awesome.

And their table offered neat reflections!

Hope everyone has a good night! Tomorrow is my birthday....

January 25th 2014

This morning was very foggy.

Tonight there was a tea party with cupcakes!

and chocolate cover strawberries!

Hooray for everyone in the photo! Even Luna!

My portrait wasn't a selfie tonight.... it was taken by Katie!

January 11th 2014

There was a break in the wind and rain at the beginning of my walk to work. You can see the tiny bit of blue sky.

I found this crazy little mushroom! I am going to go back with my 50D and take some more photos of it! It is growing out of the end of a piece of plywood!

I also found a worm.

For dinner Joel and I went to one of our favorite neighborhood places:

We hadn't been there for a very long time! They are closed on Wednesdays so we can't go there for lunch. Our favorite waitress remembered us! We hadn't see her for quite some time. She had an adorable baby boy 10 months ago.... The last time I remember seeing her she was VERY pregnant! She is so sweet. She wished me a happy new year an gave me this little pink elephant made out of Thai silk! It is the cutest little thing!

Dinner was great!

I had red curry with extra vegetables.

Here we are being very satisfied:

One last thing... Here is a photo that I took to represent movement....
Thoughts?

December 9th 2013

It is supposed to snow tonight. I am glad because that means it will be getting warmer! It will also give me something interesting to photograph in the morning.

Today, I was lazy and didn't walk. It was the last cold day in the forecast. I am okay with that.

Inky helped with the Christmas decorations at work.

I made some broccoli risotto tonight. I made up the recipe, well I used the cauliflower risotto recipe as a base. I think it turned out to be pretty delicious.

Here are my new running shoes, okay, I guess it is just one shoe. That means I need to get my buns in gear and start running again....

This is the plant that is supposed to move in with  my friend Sarah, but I always forget to bring it to her when we meet up.

                    My tea is poison....
not really.....

Finally, cuddles with Molly!!
