Today was my first Saturday off in AGES! I spent the day playing video games..... I did a little laundry too... and then Joel and I went to play Magic. It was a good relaxing day. The best part though is I don't have to work tomorrow!

Joel made this for dinner......

It is beetloaf......

I was pretty concerned about eating it.... It isn't on my "normal" food to eat list. But my fears were unfounded. It was pretty good, despite its terrible appearance. Joel will probably make it again and Joelify it making it even better.

I found these little yellow flowers last year, I searched for them this summer; I guess they are a fall flower.

They were hard to photograph because they were by the side of the road and every time a car went by a gust of wind would move them all over the place.

These little clovers looked really neat!

Sadly, my little row of trees is looking fairly naked......

Even sadder still, this morning after I took all my photos, it started to rain pretty heavily, and my bus drove by me because it was 6 minutes early.......

Inky's Great Sea Adventure!

The sea was deep blue as Inky took her sub to the depths.

She saw little fish!

And a bigger fish!

And even a shark!

But then it went terrible!

The Giant Squid ripped her sub apart and attacked!

It was a fierce battle! But in the end the squid was victorious!

Don't worry, no Inkys were harmed in the making of this story. Only irritated.....
