In 10 days my little photo adventure will turn 1 year old. So, until October 9th  I will be running a tiny contest. Cherie was at my house at 3:30 AM. She very kindly drove us both to Astoria. Here we are stopping for a coffee break just a bit before we headed to the school to set up. It was dark and very rainy.....

We had a great day at the school and even took a tiny trip to the beach at Fort Stevens! The best part?! It stopped raining and the sun came out just before we made it to the Ocean!!!

I had a cupcake today!

 I turned by back for one second and this happened.....

I ate it anyway....

Tonight I had a very good strawberry-cucumber limeade  at P.F. Chang's.

I also messed around with some photos of clouds... They still seem boring to me.....

If you kinda squint this one looks like a skull or a creepy face....

yuck....

I did get this fortune!

I hope that fortune is right!

It hailed for a bit this morning. I went out to our deck to take some photos but mostly all I got was cold toes! You will have to look closely to see the hail. They were pretty small.

But the sky cleared up a bit and looked like this!

These ducks live outside the Olive Garden in Lynnwood WA.

This lamp lives inside the Olive Garden.

I am pretty terrified of my kitchen right now.... I don't want to go clean it!

Pootie made sure that the Thanksmas tree was a good place to put presents.

 Iggy decided to inspect me while I was trying to take his photo.

We did a family portrait this morning. I don't have any of the photos, Dad took them all. I will post one when Dad shares them with me.

I actually took some landscape photos today. I was pretty happy with what I had until I got them up on my computer screen. It appears there may be some sort of artifact on my sensor. I switched and cleaned lenses... it is still there! UGH!

In Jackson Hole we saw some Trumpeter Swans. I was so excited. I love them. They were a bit too far away but I got a couple okay photos.

We made it to Boise in time for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Fortune Wok. It is so delicious, especially since we didn't eat a whole lot today.

This is Joel's brother Corwin. He is currently sporting the Evil Corwin goatee.....

 I am pretty exhausted and we still have another 8 hours to drive tomorrow. It was a good trip, and I am glad we went. I will also be very happy to be home again and sleeping in my own bed!
