I have been dreading the day this would happen..... Fish has finally figured out how to escape.... thankfully she just sits on the cage.... If she flew around she might be a cat snack...... (Sorry for the bad quantity, our room is a little dark.)

Artemis was a good boy and stayed in his cage.......

At least for a minute....

You can see where fish has rubbed her head feathers funny....

Oh well,  we will have to find a way to keep her in the cage.....have a great night!

I love May Day. I miss putting little gifts together for the little old ladies that lived across the street. I think I enjoyed ringing their doorbells and running away. I wish I had some one to give a May basket to now.....

Oh well, here is what I saw on my walk this morning.... yes, I went in the morning!

"Oh Hai!" said this slug.

I have never seen a slug sit up and look around like this one!

And there was a ladybug!

I passed by each little flower,

And made a tiny squirrel glower!

I think this is a Douglas squirrel.

Here's a sparrow just before flight.

We continued our cousin adventure today! We went hiking on Cooper Mountain.

These are of the wild iris that grow on the mountain!

This was probably one of the smallest snakes I have ever seen. It was smaller then a pencil!

We also went to Rood Bridge Park and saw the frogs at the pond.

So Olof can do this....

The fence post was a little easier.

And we celebrated Joel's birthday!!!! Yay!! Happy Birthday Joel!  I love you!
