Today's flowers at Summer Lake Park:

And the birds!

This goose was mad that I was standing on the bank where it wanted to get out of the water. It hissed at me.

Do you remember those eight little goslings? I am pretty sure these are the same ones, a little more grown up. There were many more geese with babies, but this was the only group of eight.

Mom was unimpressed with my proximity to her babies.
I was glad to see that the Heron came back from where ever Herons go when they aren't in their ponds.

Hope you have a great night!

April 20th, 2015

We continued our cousin adventure today! We went hiking on Cooper Mountain.

These are of the wild iris that grow on the mountain!

This was probably one of the smallest snakes I have ever seen. It was smaller then a pencil!

We also went to Rood Bridge Park and saw the frogs at the pond.

So Olof can do this....

The fence post was a little easier.

And we celebrated Joel's birthday!!!! Yay!! Happy Birthday Joel!  I love you!

Hope you have a great night!!

So.... When I left my apartment this morning I saw this.... I am not totally sure what it means for the wild population of shopping carts in my neighborhood.

On to the flowers!

And bees!

Woo! Joel is doing a great job of packing up while I am at work!

I had a mostly blue and purple theme today.
