October 27th 2013

WARNING: There are more then 6 photos today.... many, many, more......

I had a great photo day. It actually could be separated out into two days! I spent the morning, in the pouring rain, at the Woodland Park Zoo. Today they gave the animals pumpkins as special Halloween treat.

I made a little bird friend, until the seeds were all gone.

One liked my photo buddy Lauren too...

Just four more from the zoo!!

After it stopped raining and the sun came out I did a cosplay shoot with Brittney and Alan. They are in their Steam Punk finest.

 This is their dog Feyd.

That was an amazing time at Gas Works Park!

After the shoot we had some dinner and we were greeted at the door by this fine lad.

If you look closely the Space Needle is behind me :)

Today was a busy day. I had a great time!  Most of these photos were taken with my 50D, the exceptions are the Jaguar cub, the peeing boy, and my self portrait, those were with my Elph. The photos of Brittney and Alan were barely edited using PhotoShop Elements 10.

October 26th 2013

I found a worm trying to cross the road today. I am not sure I helped him go the right way, but he shouldn't have been in the middle of the road.

Flowers and water drops and a slug today!

I also pass this graffiti all over my neighborhood. I approve of this tag.

One last strange thing I cam across today. I guess someone lost all their air fresheners. It smelled pretty strange in the the middle of the street.....

And last but not least here I am hanging out with some friends.

October 23rd 2013

I took my car in to the shop today for an oil change, general maintenance, and a recall fix. They said it would take 3 hours so Joel and I decided to walk over to 196th street to go find some food. We didn't think it would be too much of a walk since were were at 220th street. We were wrong. We walked THREE miles to find some food... and then three miles back to get my car. It was quite the adventure.

See... the first thing we saw on our walk was an old ear of corn in a discarded shoe.

Then there was a spider drinking water. She collected the dew in her web into a ball. It was the strangest thing to watch. I guess I didn't ever think about a spider needing a drink.

This is a different spider. There were about a dozen of them on the bush.

Here i am with my 50D.

And the last bit of weird. When we got back to the Honda dealership this dog with there. Her name is Daisy.

October 22nd 2013

I am going to have to come up with a project that involves photographing something inside. It is becoming too difficult to take photos outside when I walk to and from work on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Maybe with the time change it will be easier in the morning for a little while. I guess it will give me something to think about.
Here are some last flowers and things for today:

When I got to work this morning this little bird toy was sitting exactly like this in the cat bed.  I thought it was hilarious! My boss denies involvement so it must have been Inky.

This is me in my new shiny vest, now people can reflect on whether or not they want to run me over!
