Joel and I got to meet the newest member of his family today!

Marcus was born yesterday!

Today's post is dedicated to my artist friend Katie Koozer. She does her work in colored pencil or ink. (You should go look at her work. If you do go, you might see a familiar face!) There isn't any particular reason this post is dedicated to Katie.... colored pencils make me think of her.

Anyway, here is to Katie-- a great inspiration to me.

I keep these around because I like to pretend I can draw. I really haven't used them in quite a while..... Maybe someday I will take a drawing class.....
