Today Cassie and I went in search of birds at Summer Lake Park.

Not a bird.......

The ducks watched Cassie as she watched them.

I wonder what they are saying......

We also found a squirrel.

A fat squirrel......

Who didn't really like the looks of me.....

Run little squirrel!

Have a great day!!

Today's flowers at Summer Lake Park:

And the birds!

This goose was mad that I was standing on the bank where it wanted to get out of the water. It hissed at me.

Do you remember those eight little goslings? I am pretty sure these are the same ones, a little more grown up. There were many more geese with babies, but this was the only group of eight.

Mom was unimpressed with my proximity to her babies.
I was glad to see that the Heron came back from where ever Herons go when they aren't in their ponds.

Hope you have a great night!

April 26th, 2015

I went to Summer Lake Park in search of goslings.  There are tons of Canada Geese there so I figured there were probably lots of babies.

Here is what I saw on my search.

Two kinds of fuzzy bumble bees!

Lots of wonderful flowers and scenery.

This little bird sat and posed for me!

This one was pulling up grass.

There was a VERY FAT squirrel!

I hope this is a symbol of good luck hanging in the tree!

I think these two are barn swallows.

I found a Canada Goose!

Then here they come! (these were the only babies around!)

Then they hopped up on the shore right next to me! Eight little babies!

Dandelions are so delicious!

Then I found something almost better then the little babies!

A Brown Creeper!
These guys can hang upside-down by there feet! I watched this one do it!

I hope your day was as awesome as mine!
Have a great night!
