To make up for yesterday's lack of photos, here are all the photos!!

We went back to Rood Bridge Park to see the lilies bloom!

There was the tiniest shaft of light just hitting this bloom. It was pretty magical.

Here's everything else we saw!

Blackberries already?!

some sort of bee mimic fly

damsel fly

I really missed my telephoto lens today. I won't be getting it back for a few months..... oh well, it is good for me to use my other lenses.

Hope you have a great night!!

Joel said the Daisy picked itself..... I am not so sure. It isn't a native plant so I'm not going to give him too hard a time.
On the way back to the car a tiny beetle flew into my eye.... Joel swears it was an eye-burrow beetle. (those don't really exist......)

Yesterday was Joel any my 6th year anniversary. Since I was gone we celebrated today!

We ate dinner at a Thai restaurant and then I drug him out to Rood Bridge Park for a walk.

I don't know what these are but I like their color and shape.

I'm not sure what this is either, I did see several of them on the same rosebush.

And a happy daisy!

Hope you have a great night! Here's to another great year with my best assistant!!
I love you Joel!

October 9th 2014

I found a new park tonight! It is really amazing. Rood Bridge Park is out in Hillsboro about 13 miles from where we live. I only explored a tiny fraction of the park, but what I found was pretty cool.

I came upon a little pond.

In this pond there we lots of Frogs!!! too bad they are probably non-native and invasive bullfrogs. But It was fun watching then all say "eep!" jump in the water when I came close.

There was also a pair of muskrats. I only got a photo of one.....

Here are the rest of the photos from around the pond:

These two talked with me about the how awesome the park was and they were the ones who first spotted the muskrat:

And my favorite photo from today, with absolutely no editing, straight out of the camera:

Hope you have a great night!!
Today is the final day to enter to win a print from my blog, so make those comments! I will announce the winners tomorrow in the first post of the 2nd year!
